About Us
At Shine Child, we develop future leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
Shine Child is a K-12 makerspace community for children and students. We teach kids to identify their interests, follow their passion, and challenge their innate creativity to achieve a brighter, more focused future.
We offer different learning programs that are designed to bring out the potential of each student we work with. Whether their interest is in science and technology or they have a strong fascination on business, we will help them develop their skills early on and groom them for the career they plan to take on in the future.
We are a makerspace community.
We believe that children need freedom to help them explore the world around them. This is why at Shine Child, we provide the right space, tools, materials, and technology to encourage them to experiment, build, and design projects related to their interests, whether it be science, math, engineering, or arts.
Through this structure, we are motivating our students to develop their creativity, critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills. Unlike traditional school and academic curriculum, we are not limited by textbook-based information. Instead, we apply the knowledge that they have in school to solving practical and real-life problems.
We also practice collaboration and socialization, and foster leadership at a young age. At the end of a Shine Child program, your children would have gained courage, confidence, and self-reliance that they could take on actual projects, problems, and challenges.
We offer after-school enrichment programs.
Shine Chile offers three after school entrepreneurship programs for children and students who are in the 3rd to 12th grade. We believe that be exposing them early to the fundamentals and concepts of business and various careers available, they would be able to identify their passion and calling as early as their primary level in school.
Our learning programs include: the Biz Maker Program, the STEAM Maker Program, and the Change Maker Program.
- Biz Makers Program: This 36-week beginners’ entrepreneurship course aims to introduce the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, encourage students to come up with creative ideas, and help them launch their business.
- STEAM Makers Program: This 9-month enrichment program is designed to bring out the innovative and creative skills of students. It exposes kids to hands-on science experiments, engineering challenges, and arts and design projects.
- Change Makers Program: This program is a traditional course, done in unit studies about change makers throughout history. Students will learn about influential people in business and technology, inspiring them to find opportunities for making a difference.
For more information about each of these programs, simply visit their individual pages.
We inspire students to be the best they can be.
Adults often underestimate the capabilities and competencies of children. Truth is, given the right guidance, tools, and opportunity, kids will prove to us that they are very capable of doing amazing things in school, business, and life.
We believe in this fact. This is why we want to develop them further. Through our programs, we want to bring out their potential and prepare them for the real life after school.
Join us as we develop future leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs!
