Co-op homeschooling descends from co-operative education, which is a structured method of educating children. Co-op homeschooling relies on a system that incorporates both parents and children in classroom activities. Co-ops offer classes that involve both student and parent involvement. An excellent perk of co-op homeschooling is that it surrounds you with other parents that are homeschooling their children, and gives your child some much-needed social exposure. This is also excellent for parents that aren’t exactly experts in literally every area of existence.
It’s absolutely free of charge! We’re here to present a connection between you and your future co-op, not to make a profit. Because of this, finding a co-op or making a new one is absolutely free.
While our main intent isn’t profit, we do have to at least break even to continue running the site. Because of this, we sell a variety of co-op homeschooling supplies. We understand the world of co-op homeschooling can be frightening to enter at first, however, we try to make this transition as easy as possible. We sell ancillary products like art supply kits or even whole co-op in a box packages.
The document library is a library of freely available and open resources referential to homeschooling. Anyone in the Homeschool Co-op Club is free to contribute to the document library. This means that you and your fellow homeschoolers are able to put in resources that you think others might find relevant. Afterward, everyone’s able to download these resources for free.
Yes! We’re equally supportive of all religions, in case you’ve got certain preferences, all you’ve got to do is check a box in your profile!(change if it’s a different method.) And you’ll be able to connect with other homeschoolers that share your religious views.
You can sort by state and country, while currently there’s a decent number of countries that aren’t on here, we’re planning to make the Homeschool Co-op Club truly international in the future. All of the states of the US are available and very popular, so you’re quite likely to find a group very close to you!
