Brief Overview of Shark Tank

“Shark Tank” is a reality television show that features innovators and potential investors. The sharks are the judges, who look for faults and weaknesses in the business model, concept or innovation. This reality show is not only for grown-ups. Instead, it features young entrepreneurs and innovators too. Many kids have bagged investments worth several million dollars through Shark Tanks.

With this being said, here are three interesting innovations and smart kids (worth millions) from the TV program!

The Healthy Lollipop by Alina Morse

Alina Morse is a 12-year-old entrepreneur. Today, she has sold lollipops worth 2 million USD. She is the sole founder of Zollipops.

Alina Morse founded Zollipops when she was seven years old. Her company features six employees who provide her with details of profit and loss. Ms. Morse claims that the idea seeped into her head when a person at a bank gave her lollipops. The lollipop’s sugar content alarmed Ms. Morse. She believed that the sugar would destroy her teeth, and health. Consequently, she decided to make lollipops that wouldn’t harm her teeth.

In a short period of time, Alina’s parents invested time and money in finding a recipe that is healthy and tasty. This lollipop can be found in all major stores like Office Depot, Walmart, Kroger and more!

A Baby’s Baby Spoon by Cassidy Crowley

“The Baby Toon” is the brainchild of Cassidy. This is a brilliant company that focuses on baby feeding spoons. Cassidy was only 10-years-old when she came up with this idea.

Cassidy is considered as one of Shark Tank’s finest kids. She floored all the judges with practical details and amazing knowledge on why the silicone spoon is special. Cassidy managed to gather 50,000 USD. Her wit and entrepreneurial spirit was unbelievable. To be precise, it was Cassidy’s entrepreneurial spirit that convinced Lori Greiner in the show.

The Snap Caps (alias M3 Girl Designs) by Maddie Bradshaw

“M3 Girl Designs” is another business worth several million dollars. Maddie started to create Snap Caps when she was 15 years old. These are beautiful chains, bracelets and badges made from bottle caps.

At the show, M3 Girl Designs was able to receive 300,000 USD from three of the judges. Though the website is no longer functional, there are so many artisans in websites like “Etsy” with bottle cap designs.
